I have grown roses for nearly four decades. In my present garden, ”Montview” in Killarney, Queensland, there are 470 roses – Old Garden Roses, Heritage Roses and Modern Roses. For the first time last winter, I applied an average of 500gms of Garden Mate with cow or horse manure to all roses. A second application of Garden Mate was applied after the spring flowering. The result has been remarkable. Despite a long hot dry summer and a big wet at the end of March, the vigorous growth and healthy, dark green glossy foliage of the rose bushes, shrubs and climbers were the best I have ever grown, whilst the size, colour and fragrance of the spring and autumn blooms were magnificent. But best of all, there has been no need to use fungicides over the past six months. There were some outbreaks of black spot and powdery mildew in the autumn, but absolutely nothing like what I have experienced in the past. I also observed that the yellowing of new growth on some roses was corrected. I believe that Garden Mate was the key to such a marked improvement in the vigour and health of the roses. 13th December 2017At iLandscape we have been using the Earthlife Products for approx. 12 Months and have noticed dramatic increases in our plants colours and growth patterns. We use Earthlife on all our Plant stock as soon as it arrives in the stores as well as adding to it all our Landscaping projects in the gardens and under the turf. We have found that our gardens require less water and the plants take up the natural nutrients in the soil much quicker giving us better colours and foliage in all our plants. Buddies Edible Garden ProjectOur ‘Healthy Foods Program’ has been implemented into 160 schools, kindergartens and day-care centres for six years in the Lockyer Valley, Somersetand the Toowoomba Regions.We commenced with fifteen and continued to grow during this time. Our Major Sponsor ‘Pohlmans” provides the trays of seedlings for the children’s gardens. The children learn about organic grown produce, how to grow at home in the family garden and the most important part is eating fresh from thegarden.What makes our gardens so special is the natural rock and minerals that is added to the soil. We use a Earthlife Product called “Veggie Mate” that conditions the soil and the plants take up the minerals improving the produce grown by the children. As we say, ‘you can taste the difference’ and the minerals improves the shelf life of the produce harvested.I have used the natural rock and minerals for a number of years with organic growing and soon switched to Earthlife products for our healthy foods program. Emaho Trees produces advanced ex-ground trees for councils, developers and landscapers. The majority of the trees are Australian native including Waterhousias, Syzygiums, and Brachychitons. Exotics include Magnolias, Calodendrons and Camellias. Over the last five years, all our young trees have been planted using Earthlife microbial rock minerals which conditions the trees and soil, improving its structure and facilitating better water penetration and holding capacity. This is so important considering the long dry periods experienced to which our trees adapted without any adverse effects. Basically, it is all to do with nutrition which promotes strong root development and helps the trees adjust to variations in their environment. We now regard it as ‘Best Practice’ to use the microbial rock minerals with all our trees when planted and then follow up with additional applications when required. The results speak for themselves, with our trees showing robust and improved growth. On average, our trees are growing at a rate which is around 1/3rd more than before using these minerals.
